Color Association Staff & Associates

Erin Laubenheimer is Director of Membership and Associate Director of the Association. Erin Laubenheimer graduated from Pratt Institute with honors and a BFA in painting in 2004. She also attended Fashion classes at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Erin is well read with an expansive range of interests including Art, Psychology and Sustainable Design. She previously worked at a letterpress and acted as the Assistant Manufacturers Representative for a company specializing in green kitchens and home design before joining The Color Association.

Leslie Harrington headshotLeslie Harrington Ph.D is the director of Color Association of the United States. Among many other things, she is considered one of the foremost researcher in the field of Color Strategy. Her work concentrates on understanding the emotional and cognitive facets of color in the contexts of products, brands and built environments and leveraging color's impact to affect organizational performance and consumer behavior. Prior to her work with CAUS, she was founder and President of LH Color, a color research and consulting business that helps companies develop strategic color positions to enhance their offerings. Leslie has held various senior management positions in the area of color strategy and color marketing over a 20 year tenure within the color industry. Her diverse client list includes firms in the home, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. As an expert in color, she has appeared on NBC's The Today Show, ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's Ali & Jack, City TV and Fox News. She has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York TImes, Toronto Star and other publications. In 2007 she has been featured in The New Yorker, Men's Health, O Magazine, and Real Simple to name a few. Her design credentials include the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). She also served on the executive board of directors of the Color Marketing Group (CMG). She holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University, and a PhD in Business Management from Capella University, MN.
